Shelly’s right eyelid fluttered as if a moth had landed there. She knew her body: her blood pressure was up. She called it her spider sense, like in her brother’s comic books when she was little. Next, she’d see the yellow spots floating in front of her like fireflies. Why, she wondered, did everything about high blood pressure make her think of bugs?
