James Croal Jackson James Croal Jackson is the author of The Frayed Edge of Memory (Writing Knights Press, 2017). His poetry has ap- peared or is forthcoming in FLAPPERHOUSE, Rust + Moth, The Bitter Oleander, and elsewhere. Julian jackson Formerly an American photo-journalist for the Times News of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Julian moved to Chi- na with his wife, author Cathy Adams in 2012. His recent photography has centered on Southeastern Asian subject matter from Angkor Wat to the northern gardens of Thai- land to the Great Wall of China. He specializes in street photography, with a flair for putting locals at ease when capturing their dynamic images. Julian currently lives in the northern Chinese city of Shenyang, Liaoning, where he is often found tooling about the city with his camera. Steve Klepetar Steve Klepetar lives in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, but is currently a visiting scholar at the University of No- tre Dame, Australia, in Fremantle. His work has appeared widely in the U.S. and abroad, and has received several nominations for Best of the Net and the Pushcart Prize, including four in 2016. He is the author of twelve poetry collections, the most recent of which are “A Landscape in Hell” (Flutter Press), “Family Reunion” (Big Table), and “How Fascism Comes to America” (Locofo Chaps). Jon Kvassey Jon creates imagery to express the ideas that stick to his subconscious, unshakable frustrations, loneliness, and guilt. Creating work that attempts to find it’s own space between the natural and manmade places uncomfort- ably placed on top of each other. The work is an attempt to keep up the exhausted effort of a consciousness that is always arguing with itself. Always attempting to fill a gap and to find a path that feels like fulfillment. Jon spent most of his life in and around Los Angeles. He cur- rently resides in Cleveland, Ohio. Alex Lanz Alex Lanz grew up in Portland, Oregon, and currently works as a transcriber in Brooklyn. Their work has ap- peared in Atticus Review, Entropy, and The Seventh Wave. 111
