shana ross
Shana Ross is a poet and playwright with an MBA. She lives in
Connecticut and works globally as a consultant and leadership
expert. Her writing career has been dormant for 18 years, but
this decade, her work has been published in Anapest Journal.
jeremy schnotala
Jeremy Schnotala just finished his MFA in creative writing at
Western Michigan University. He lives with his husband in Grand
Rapids, MI where he has taught English and creative writing and
directed theater in the public schools for twenty-four years.
He was shortlisted last year for contests at Writers@Work,
Glimmer Train, and The Masters Review, and recently won first
prize in the Saints and Sinners 2018 Literary Festival fiction
contest. His recent published work can be seen in Temenos Lit-
erary Journal and Beecher’s Magazine.

shaun turner
Shaun Turner is the author of a chapbook of short fiction, “The
Lawless River” (Red Bird Chapbooks 2016). His writing can be
found at Connotation Press, Tin House’s Flash Fridays, Bear Re-
view, and Permafrost Magazine, among others. Shaun graduated with
his MFA from West Virginia University in 2016.
Sydney Vance
Sydney Vance currently lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In the
spring of 2017, she received her BA in Creative Writing from
The University of Central Oklahoma where she also served as the
Senior Editor of Poetry for The New Plains Review. Her work has
previously appeared in Petrichor (formerly known as Jazz Ciga-
rette Magazine), 1890: A Journal of Undergraduate Research, Words
Dance, and Josephine Quarterly. It is forthcoming elsewhere.
laurence wensel
Laurence Wensel is a photographer and algorithm artist. He holds
an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, and an MA and
BFA in Theater Directing from Texas State University. His art-
work has been published in Every Pigeon- Volume 2 (12/2017), The
Writers Forum with Texas A&M University Writing Center (1/2016),
and Arizona State University’s Canyon Voices (1/2014). Through
the use of photography, hand drawn images, and apps, a moment is
captured and explored in his creations. More information on his
