gail labovitz
Gail Labovitz is a writer living in Los Angeles. She
has studied in such programs as the Writers’ Studio in
New York and the Writers’ Program of the UCLA Exten-
sion. Her previous publications include several short
stories in Jewish and/or feminist journals; this is
her first “experimental” piece to be published. In her
“day job” she is an academic of religious studies at a
small private liberal arts university.

Amy Lauren authored Prodigal (Bottlecap Press, 2017)
and God With Us (Headmistress Press, 2017). Her poet-

diane G. martin
Diane G. Martin, Russian literature specialist and graduate
of Willamette University, has published fiction and memoir in
New London Writers, a vignette in Vine Leaves Literary Review,
creative nonfiction in Poetry Circle, Open: Journal of Arts
and Letters, and Breath and Shadow. Her poetry has appeared
in the Willamette Review of the Liberal Arts, Portland Review
of Art, Pentimento, Twisted Vine Leaves, The Examined Life,
Wordgathering, Dodging the Rain, Antiphon, Dark Ink, Gyro-
scope, Poor Yorick, and upcoming in Shanti, in addition to
translated poetry in Rhino. Her photos have been exhibited in
the US, Russia, and Italy, published in Conclave, Slipstream,
Dodging the Rain, Stonecoast Review, Dark Ink, and soon in
Tulane Review. She has broadcast essays on Maine Public Radio,
as well as participating in radio programs and documentaries
in the US and Russia. She has recently completed a collection
of memoirs.Long-time resident of San Francisco, CA, Maine,
USA, St. Petersburg, Russia and, more recently, Sansepolcro,
Italy, Diane has traveled widely and often, owing to immigra-
tion restrictions, reluctantly. The themes of exile, disabili-
ty, and displacement pervade her work.

Jang holds a BFA from University of Colorado at Denver.
She has completed a poetry mentorship through AWP’s Writ-
er-to-Writer program and is a member of Lighthouse Writers
Workshop in Denver, CO, where she also practices her visual
art. She has previously published in Dash Literary Journal and
the Poeming Pigeon.

lives and teaches in Indiana.
