Every Thursday during the racing season is Buck Night. Sundays are family day. SandVenture Aquatic Park has a unique, chlorinated pool that offers a sand beach leading out to a sand-bottom. 5 Huber Park Performance & Event Series Located along the Minnesota River in historic Downtown, it has free, family- friendly events during the summer. 6 Scott County Fair Festival Dubbed the “5 Best Days of Summer”, the fair features live acts, farm animals, carnival rides and traditional fair food. Beginning in August, see the past come alive. Kid and family-friendly activities. 7 The Great Midwest Rib Fest 3 Minnesota Renaissance 4 Waterparks Soak City Waterpark is included with your admission to Valleyfair. 14 Visit Shakopee 2018 Visitor’s Guide This free outdoor, family-friendly event at Mystic Lake Casino showcases the nation’s top rib cookers. 8 Rock and Rockets Come to Mystic Lake Casino during the 4th of July and enjoy a free, all-ages event which includes live music, food trucks, and a musically-choreographed fireworks show. 9 Shockwaves Water Ski Events Beginning late June and running most Thursday evenings throughout the sum- mer, see a fun, free water ski show put on by the Shakopee – Prior Lake Water Ski Association (Shockwaves). 10 Wacipi Pow Wow The Wacipi celebration of life, in August, is a social celebration of dancing, sing- ing and visiting.
