e believe in educating the whole
person. Teaching life skills and building
character have always been at the forefront for
Stratford Girls’ Grammar School. Our enrichment
programme is an essential platform for our
students to engage in the wider community and
also to develop their life skills, so that they can go
on to make good choices. We know that character
is important – a Cv may get you to the interview,
but character will get you the job.
Th e three core areas we focus on are personal
development, community participation and work-
related learning. Th ese might include voluntary
work, sporting, arts and music activities, charity
work, community partnerships and work experience.
Students agree that enrichment builds their
confi dence, gives them a sense of achievement and
challenges them in ways that broadens their minds,
as well as their skill-set.
Our alumnae supports us in developing our young
adults, not only through our Speaker Programme,
