The Rim Fire is now a part of the history of the SFPUC and the City and County of San Francisco. Just as the Great Earthquake of 1906 shaped our City, the lessons learned from the Rim Fire will shape future emergency response, operation of this essential system, and management of our natural resources. Thank you to the brave firefighters, and to all those involved with the Rim Fire effort. Rim Fire $806M 2009 Our Headquarters
