“A trip of a lifetime”, “It’s on my Bucket List”, or “was a dream come true” are all common phrases to describe a sailing trip around the Caribbean’s US and British Virgin Islands.
It’s often assumed that chartering a luxury yacht for five to ten days is way out of most people’s price range. But the truth is, a sailing adventure in much more affordable than you think if you plan ahead. With the exception of flights, it’s not uncommon to organize a trip for less than US$1,000 for 10 days.
