SEVENSEAS - 7

T

his last month took much of the world by surprise with the results of the US elections. No matter how you voted, no one is certain of the shift in attention towards or away from

environmental protection. Ocean conservation took some huge strides in these last few months under the Obama administration- we can only hope for that continued support in the future.

Now more than ever the fate of our oceans and our natural world is at stake. If you care, you have to do something. If you can donate time and money, please do. If you don’t have resources to donate then at a minimum encourage friends, colleagues, and classmates to like and subscribe to free products and organizations like SEVENSEAS (www.sevenseastravelmagazine.com/subscribe). The larger our network, the stronger our conservation message, and more significant our impact. If you have questions about marine conservation or want to learn what else you can do check out the “Get Involved” tab on our website. And don’t hesitate to reach out over email if you would like to dig a little deeper.

We have one life and one planet. Make it count.

SEVENSEAS is the leading free publication that promotes marine conservation through community engagement, online media, and eco-tourism, every month, to our readers all across the globe. We ask that YOU be that inspiration for others to follow in your footsteps.
