“Can't Breathe...”

The central idea of my painting was to inform how crucial it is to keep our earth as well as the water unpolluted. The fishes breathing oxygen symbolizes that the water is too unsanitary for the creatures to live in. Personally an artwork can impact many minds about an important subject like this. This painting, “Can’t Breath,” indicates the fishes’ suffering, and how we human beings can only prevent underwater filth to cease. People have put hatred down in the water, however had forgotten sea creatures are living organisms as well. Throwing rubbish into the water can conceal your garbage, but will show negative consequences in the future. I truly hope that entering this contest can change other people’s mindsets through the art as well.
