oving around as a child,
from one country to the next, opened my eyes to the differences and similarities in us all. Then, in high school I fell in love with the photography medium as a way to represent my feelings through the imagery around me.
Since then I developed my skills to capture moments in time of cultures and places from all over the world. I am drawn to the fascinating and challenging ways people live and survive as the modern world encroaches on them.
Immersing myself in unique and remote cultures allows me not only to showcase remarkable people and places, but also to document these fast changing, and disappearing societies.
My degree in cultural geography helps me view the world through my lens with a critical and understanding eye, which in turn helps produce unique images of art that tell a story.
Being able to bring these stories, cultures, and places, from remote parts of the world, and sharing them through art, keeps me going every year in search of more incredible, off-the-beaten path places before they completely change or become extinct.
