PROJECT-BASED LEARNING IN GRADE 2 ENGLISH
We learn English through working on various projects . We explore each theme through songs , games , hands-on crafts , group work , role-plays , and writing activities .
In September , we started working on our International Project with a school in England . It ’ s fun and interesting to learn about a different culture . We wrote letters and sent cards to our friends in England . We made a traditional Turkish dessert , mosaic cake and wrote the recipe to send to England .
We are excited to share our photos from our Halloween celebrations . We dressed up and played party games ! Learning about celebrations in other countries helps us to appreciate different cultures .
