WOOING WED WIDING HOOD PREPARATION

This year we are preparing for a play called “ Wooing Wed Widing Hood ”. To prepare for the play we began by reading the script to learn about the characters . Mr . Park let us try many different roles to help find the best fit for each person . After we read and understood the story , we wrote down our top three character choices so Mr . Park could chose the roles . I learned that I would be Little Red Riding Hood ! Now we are acting out the scenes and memorizing our roles . Right now we still use our scripts in class but soon we will being acting without our scripts . It is really fun . It is also educating because we all found out that there are many things that we didn ’ t know about fairy tales and we can see a lot of our TEOG English vocabulary words in full sentences as well . The plot is about three princes who want to woo Little Red Riding Hood . The princes must complete three tasks to find out who will be the winner . I still laugh a lot when we are rehearsing the play even though I ’ ve seen it so many times . Coming up in January we will perform the play for all of our parents . I can ’ t wait and I hope to see you there !

Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik Birimi olarak 8 . sınıf öğrencilerimizin liselere giriş sınavlarına hazırlık yaptıkları bu yoğun dönemlerinde duygu ve düşüncelerini daha iyi ifade edebilmelerini sağlamak , duygularını yönetebilme becerilerini geliştirmek amacıyla “ etkileşim grupları ” oluşturduk . Küçük gruplar halinde yapılan bu çalışmalarda öğrencilerin duygularının farkına vararak ifade edebilmelerini , arkadaş ilişkilerini geliştirmelerini , nefes ve gevşeme egzersizleri ve çeşitli etkinliklerle motivasyonlarını arttırmalarını hedeflemekteyiz . Öğrencilerimiz için bir çok kazanımın olduğu bu çalışmamıza yıl boyunca devam edeceğiz .
