ONE LITTLE HALLOWEEN ISSUE
In a far , far away town , there was a girl named Caroline .
She was walking in an empty street . It was middle of October and it was snowing . Except the noise of the cold wind , there was no sound . While Caroline was walking , she saw something shining brightly . She was a little curious . So , she went towards that light and she found out that the light was coming from a mirror , which was hidden in the snow . She tried her best to dig it up . After some painful work , the mirror was in her hands . “ The mirror must be old .” she said to herself . Then she remembered her mom who was waiting home for her . She took the mirror and started walking … She was late for home . Her mother was scared . When she saw Caroline she said “ Get ready for the lunch dear !” After Caroline changed her clothes , she took the mirror out and cleaned it gently . “ Caroline , lunch is ready !” Her mom shouted . “ Ok , mom !” Caroline left the mirror on her bed and then rushed through the stairs , straight to the kitchen . Caroline was only 13 years old . She had blue eyes and blonde hair . She was pretty , friendly and smart . As I said before , she was a little curious . She had so many friends , but her best friend was Bonnie . Bonnie was brunette . Both Bonnie and Caroline was not too short , or not too tall . Bonnie was also friendly , kind and sensitive . It was morning , 7 o ’ clock . Caroline woke up by the alarm noise coming from her clock . She dressed , she brushed her teeth , she made her breakfast , finally she wore her shoes and she jumped into the bus and went to school . When she met Bonnie she told everything about the mirror to her . “ I didn ’ t like this mirror . It is ugly .” said Bonnie . However , Caroline replied : “ I just loved it !” Later that day , Caroline arrived home . She again left the mirror on her bed . She went downstairs to finish her homework . While she was doing her homework , a strange noise came from her bedroom . She went nervously into her room . She came closer to the mirror . There was nothing strange … The days passed by . It was near Halloween . Caroline was still in a wonderment . She was sure the peculiar noise came from the mirror . But for one and a half weeks , the mirror didn ’ t make any noise . Thus , Caroline decided to forget what happened one and a half weeks ago . Caroline checked her messages . She found out that , her other friend Elena ( She had freckles all around her cheeks .), had organized a party . A Halloween party . Bonnie had a boyfriend . She said “ I am going to the party with my boyfriend .” Caroline needed a partner . “ Caroline ! Did you hear about the guy who registered our school . He is so hot . Everybody is talking about him . I ’ d like him to come to the party with me !” said Elena . “ I invited him too .” She added . “ Do you have a partner ?” she was talking endlessly . “ No , I don ’ t .” said Caroline . “ Poor Caroline .” a sarcastic expression appeared on Elena ’ s face . “ See you next class .” she said . “ Bye .” said Caroline while waving her hand and thinking about the new guy . The next day , Caroline arrived class . She sat next to Bonnie , where she usually sits . After a minute or two Caroline noticed Bonnie was grinning at her like a Cheshire Cat . “ What ?” said Caroline . “ Klaus is staring at you .” said Bonnie . “ Who is Klaus ?” Caroline also started grinning . “ The new guy .” Bonnie realized that Caroline ’ s cheeks were red . After the bell , Caroline saw Klaus walking towards her . “ Hi , I ’ m Klaus .” He smiled to Caroline . “ I ’ m Caroline .” She felt her heart thumping like crazy . “ I heard that Elena is having a party , so I need a partner , want to come with me ?” he smiled even bigger . Caroline hesitated . “ Ok . I ’ ll come with you .” On the day of the party , Caroline was having problems with what to wear . As a result , she decided to wear the T-shirt which Harley Quinn wears . “ Daddy ’ s Lil ’ Monster ” she said to herself and smiled . She was ready . Everyone was excited for the party . Around noon Caroline wore her shirt and put on makeup , which was pink and blue , like Harley Quinn does . She drew a heart to her left cheek and she tied her hairs from two sides of her head . She went downstairs and she got in the car . When she arrived to the party , she started waiting for Klaus . Klaus arrived . He smiled gently and he grabbed Caroline ’ s hand . Caroline could feel the butterflies in her stomach . She took a deep breath . They went inside . Inside of the party was great . Foods , decorations , music … She met Elena and said “ Elena ! I wasn ’ t expecting this much !” said Caroline . “ Thanks !” Said Elena while having a hug to Caroline . After that Bonnie arrived . She was happy also she was wearing a witch costume . “ Loved your all of your costumes .” she said . Elena was a vampire . “ As we do !” Said both . “ Oh my ! My favorite song .” Said Bonnie . She pushed Caroline to the dance floor . They started dancing . “ Ah !” Elena yelled . The electricity was gone . It was all dark . After a minute generators started working . “ What happened mom ?” asked Elena ’ s mom . “ It may seem extraordinary , but nothing . Nothing happened .” said Elena ’ s mom . “ Ok . Don ’ t
