STAR SIGN FESTIVAL PREPARATIONS
In the Star Sign Festival we marched in a parade and did some fun activities . Before the festival we did some research on our birthdate and birthday ; what the weather was like when we were born , what famous people were born on our birthdays and we made our costumes for our SEV STAR SIGN parade .. My star sign is Libra . I share my birthday with Kira Kosarin . She is a famous TV actress . I was born on a warm , dry day . For the Star Sign Festival , I wore a black skirt and a golden t-shirt . I had a long rope wrapped around my arms and there were scales on the rope ( but it was cardboard ). I walked with my arms out . It was an amazing festival .

STAR SIGN FESTIVAL
In this project I learnt lots of things about myself : My birthdate was on the first of July , 2016 . It was a hot day . The weather was hot 36 * C . Carl Fogarty and I share our birthdays . He is a motorcycle racer . My star sign is CANCER . The character traits for Cancer are caring , moody , and jealous but I am not moody . The other traits are correct for me . At school we had a Sev Star Sign Festival . I wore a t-shirt that had a crab picture on it . In the parade I opened and closed my hands like a crab and I acted like I was catching someone . Everyone had fun at the festival .

REPUBLIC DAY
In class we talked about all the different occasions we celebrate in Turkey . Then we decided on one and did some research . We created and shared our Keynote presentations with the class . I chose Republic Day to talk about and this is what I said : Republic Day is on 29 October . It is a type of a national day . People feel proud and happy on that day . Sometimes they set off fireworks . They dress up and have fun . They have a parade . They march in the streets . They eat dinner with their family . Some people decorate their houses for Republic Day . They do this with flags and balloons . They like decorating the streets too . They set off many fireworks . They have parades . Some people march on roads , streets , parks and lots of other places . Others watch parades , activities or news on television and they wear red and white clothes . I think that Republic Day is an important national day in Turkey .
