Step 3:

Prepare 4-6 Cod de Leon (CDL) fibers.

Step 4:

After pinching the CDL fibers between your thumb and index finger, use the “pinch wrap method” and tie them in facing away from the bend of the hook forming a shank length tail. Add two thread wraps under the tail, lifting them slightly upwards. Cut the access CDL material just behind the bead.

Step 5:

Create a smooth tapered body with the Olive/Brown thread.

Tip: Spin the thread anti-clockwise to flatten/open the thread which will enhance the smooth profile.

Step 6:

Whip finish not more than two wraps bind the bead.

Cut the Olive/Brown Thread close.
