Scenario research visits focus groups

n-depth studies with focus
groups were done amongst
producers in the Senwes
operations area in the next
phase of the Senwes Scenario
research. Free State towns such
as Bothaville, Wesselsbron,
Bloemfontein and Kroonstad,
as well as Potchefstroom in the
Northwest and Hartswater in the
Northern Cape were included.
Senwes Scenario used the
opportunity to visit the focus
group in Hartswater. Lida
Groenewald from an independent
company, MarkData, facilitated
the focus groups. The five
producers present shared their
opinions and inputs with us. The
magazine was discussed from
various points of view, which was
also done by means of telephonic

sent out in July, focus groups
were consulted and hundreds of
telephone interviews were finalised
in September.
