Senwes producers share in

THE UNIQUE TOWN of Schweizer-
Reneke is the area of focus in
the Senwes Scenario. A Senwes
producer, Johan, or rather Boeta
van Wyk, appears on the cover
page of this edition, on his farm
Klipfontein in the Schweizer dis-
trict. In the Spotlight focuses on
Boeta and his farm, his pillars of
support.
This area is Senwes area and
according to the inhabitants, a
little bit of Northwest, Free State
and Northern Cape can be seen
everywhere. Boeta describes his
farm, which is situated towards
Bloemhof direction, as “where the
Karoo and the Kalahari meet.”
We visited Senwes Equipment and
branch manager Waldo Venter
told us more about Hinterland
Village branch. Area Focus looks
at interesting facts of the town,
for instance who the town was
named after and the stories about
the Kruger millions.
