From Portugal to Bloemfontein
MECHANISATION ACCORDING TO JOHN MORGADO
“Bloemfontein producers want service on their farms.” In
order to do that, they try to get to the producers as fast as
possible.
They definitely deserve a compliment. The
Bloemfontein branch serves an area with a radius
of approximately 200 km which include, inter alia,
Bloemfontein, Petrusburg, Kimberley, Rouxville,
Tweespruit, Zastron and Theunissen.
This is definitely not an easy task. For this reason
John is insistent upon his people doing the work right
the first time. Farmers in the Bloemfontein are of the
utmost importance to his division and particularly to
agriculture. “I believe that farmers are the backbone of the
Bloemfontein area."
John is an advocate for good communication between
all divisions within Senwes in order to render optimal service to the producer.

ohn Morgado is the workshop manager at
Senwes Equipment in Bloemfontein. One
could say that he was sent to Bloem and was a
mere 4 years old when his family immigrated to
South Africa. He went to school at Grey College
in Bloemfontein and matriculated at Malvern
High in 1981.
John is a well-known character in the industry
and has been involved in the industry since 1982
- almost 35 years. He has been with Senwes for
the past four years and spent a number of years
at various motor companies, including a stint of
18 years at Toyota. He also has experience in the
wholesale environment and worked as an armourer as well. On a personal level John has been
married to Fatima for 32 years and they have
