NEWS Senwes ondersteun plaaslike besigheid Following the need for a good variety of coffee deliveries expressed by Senwes head office staff, the company surprised its employees on Monday, February 11, 2019, by allowing local Klerksdorp Brüder Coffee Roastery to set up a coffee station in the reception area.  By Marlon Abrahams Senwes Scenario Editor-in-Chief S enwes Property Manager, Johan le Roux, says he was impressed with Brüder. "We have invited several suppliers for submissions, but in the end it was Brüder's passion that convinced us to show them their steel for a four- week trial period.” The owners, Pieter and Maryke Schoonwinkel, run the coffee 60 SENWES SCENARIO | AUTUMN 2019 station, along with their trusted fellow barista Tsela Ramofolo, or Folo as they call him. The Schoonwinkels are Klersksdorp residents and the Brüder brand is their own. “We have been in business for the past year and the Senwes coffee station is our first real coffee station. So far, we have roasted our own coffee and provided local businesses, ”Pieter says.
