This position performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair functions associated with the operation of the municipal water and sewer plants, lift stations, water towers, streets, parks, and city buildings. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants should be able to lift at least 75 pounds. A Class B MN driver’s commercial license with air brake certifi cation is required or must be obtained within six months of employment. Experience with operation of mechanical equipment and welding is also desirable. Excellent public rela- tions/customer service skills are essential to the position. Candidates will be required to successfully pass a physical, re- quired drug/alcohol screening, and a criminal background check. This position is full time (FT), hourly, with a starting salary of $17.00 per hour/DOQ.
