She con- tinued to work there until she retired in 1981. A highlight was “being with the kids.” She stated that she would have been happy to continue cooking, but, over the years, the required “government bookwork” be- came a burden. Alice lost her husband in 2001, but has continued to live a full life. Quilting was a pri- mary hobby, and she “couldn’t even count” the number of quilts she’s made for family Alice Wolfstellar is congratulated by her nieces and nephew, Lee Ann and friends. These days, she loves to read Winkelman, Theodore Woyke, and Priscilla McKenzie. PHOTO BY DEB COX-JOHNSON and still leads a Bible study group two times a month.
