Confident Caregivers

Caring for a loved one during a time of illness can be physically exhausting and lonely, as
well as emotionally draining. Yet day after day, caregivers show their love and kindness by
setting aside their own needs to serve their spouse, friend or other family member. Confident Caregivers provides support for those filling the roll of full or part-time caregiver
in their home, special needs community, or assisted living facility. Each meeting allows
caregivers at any stage in life to spend time with others who share their unique experience
of providing care for those unable to care for themselves.
During this time of fellowship and support, Confident Caregivers team members offer
encouragement, advice and prayer. Confident Caregivers gatherings are held at 6:30pm
on the third Tuesday during the months of September, November, January, March, and
May each year. Each meeting features an interesting speaker designed to entertain and
equip attendees around a verity of topics. For more information, please contact the Senior

GriefShare Workshops

You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare is a ministry providing a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s
most difficult experiences. GriefShare seminars and support groups here at Calvary are
led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain
access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and take steps
to rebuild your life.
Two 13-week workshops are held, one in the spring and one in the fall. Workshops are
designed specifically to give you the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss. For more information, please contact the Calvary Church Senior
