FOOD & DRINK COUNCIL OAK ST PETE DISTILLERY DINNER Once a month, Council Oak hosts a dinner pairing exquisite dishes with the best selection of beverages and Thursday, August 18 was no exception. That evening Council Oak Lounge was the place to be featuring the local spirits of St. Petersburg Distillery paired with a delicious four course meal curated by Chef Dave Puatu and his team. Kicking off the evening were some tasty hors d’oeuvres consisting of Conch Fritters, Purple Potato Latke and Scallop Ceviche. As the courses began so did the music with the smooth vocals of JAC of All Trades. Guests enjoyed Grilled Cobia, Braised Berkshire Port Cheek and Smoked Beef Rib each paired with cocktails consisting of the distillery’s own Tropical Gin, Righteous Rum & Spice and Sweet Corn Whiskey. The fourth and final course ended with Executive Pastry Chef Stephane Shubert’s imaginative, Grand Royal Chocolate Mousse. It was heaven on a plate!
