On June 14, 1971, Isaac Tigrett and Peter
Morton opened the first-ever Hard Rock
Cafe in London and an iconic brand was
born. To honor the brand’s founders and
celebrate the brand’s birthday, Hard Rock
Cafe Tampa offered a Legendary Burger,
16-ounce beer and a milkshake for just
$19.71 on Tuesday, June 14.
Since opening its doors in 1971,
Hard Rock has evolved into one
of the most globally recognized
entertainment brands, with 165 cafes,
23 hotels and 11 casinos across 69
countries.
Additionally, Hard Rock Cafe team
members proudly wore 70’s attire to
honor the big day.
Two music-loving Americans founded
the first Hard Rock Cafe in an old Rolls
Royce showroom in London. After Eric
Clapton asked to hang his guitar in
that location, Tigrett and Morton had a
