Q&A
JIM FAIR
Vice President of Security & Transportation
Q: What is the most fun aspect of your position?
Being able to assist a guest, whether it be assisting them recover a missing
item, helping them when they are ill or injured, providing direction or being
a source of comfort. Security and transportation team members are usually
the first people that guests encounter on property, so we set the tone for
their experience. In addition to serving our guests, it is also fun seeing them
return!
Q: What do you think the top five “must-do’s” are for anyone who
travels to the resort?
• Council Oak Steaks & Seafood. The quality of the food is outstanding, but
it’s truly the service, the friendliness and superior attention to detail that
makes it memorable.
• Hard Rock Live. We have had Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Andrea Bocelli
and countless other great acts. The level of entertainment is world-class.
Q: Who is one of your favorite music
artists and why?
I’m a Jersey boy, so Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and anything else
from Jersey.
Q: What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
Photography and traveling. I have been practicing photography for 10
years, primarily landscape photography. I have been all over the world,
including Europe, Asia and most of the states. Last year, I traveled to India
and shot villages and markets. Soon I will travel to Seattle to shoot the
wildflowers of Mount Rainier and later in the year I will shoot fall colors at
the San Juan Mountains in Colorado.
Q: What is something people may not know about you?
I spent 10 exciting years as the manager of executive protection for Donald
Trump and his family before joining Seminole Gaming in 2005.
• High Limit Tables is one of the nicest gaming rooms in the country. Our
slot machines are also the latest and greatest.
• The pool. Weekends out there are a lot of fun with great music, fresh food
and beverages and a great vibe.
• The Penthouse Suites. Beautiful and definitely a must-do if you have the
opportunity to experience them.
