Our support services
Housed in our state-of-the-art Operations
Centre, we have a top-of-the-range alarm
receiving set-up plus a Learning and
Development Academy.
Fully compliant with both BS EN 50518
standard and BS8484 for Monitoring, this set-
up allows us to not only protect lone workers
but also help organisations to meet their HSE
duties for lone workers.
The Communicator platform
The Securitas team utilise a unique platform
to track and trace lone workers. Currently, this
supports over 320 different devices, from a
wide range of manufacturers and partners, to
make it accessible to all.
This platform is able to track, trace, and record
GPS data, which is directly inputted into our
Securitas Operation Centre (SOC) monitoring
software so that in the event of an alarm
activation, all essential data about the user,
device, and location is immediately available
to our operators.
Escalation and emergencies
An important feature of our lone worker
service is that Securitas offers a unique
escalation response plan for each
individual monitored by our
system, which has been tailored to
meet their specific requirements.
This means that in the event of
a medical emergency or crime,
we have agreed unique reference
numbers with police forces so that
we can guarantee you at least a grade
two response on the basis of the information
we provide.
