The Academic Problems
The academic problems have been more frequently through the time. In this article we analyze some causes and at the same time, search possible solutions for this issue. This project was developed in the Nueva Colombia School with the high school students, during May and June 2018. Most of the interviewees were from eleventh grades.
In the survey fulfilled we could observe that the high school students of Nueva Colombia school want to continue their studies in different places as the Sena, universities, institutes and in foreign places. In their free time most of them do sports. When they are at home they study, however a 24% never study at home.
The students are aware about the thing they need to be better in, they realize that have to put more attention, research, study more, be more responsible, read more, do not disturb and talk so much, have concentration, don’t be lazy, to have a good behavior and coexistence, be better than others, have knowledge, try, understand and improve the academic commitment. But they don't have a motivation.
The solution could be, to encourage the students and invite them to dedicate more time to the academic issues and give them the resources they need for being better students in their classes. Teachers can change the method of teaching.
In conclusion, the Nueva Colombia high school students, present academic difficulties because they are not committed with their studies, but with help of our teachers they can improve their calcifications
