Without Borders
Every day we see many people coming from other countries with different cultures or people from Colombia that go to other places and countries visiting other cultures. They teach us the way other people live, such as meals, typical dishes and so on.
I did a survey to know where the students of the Nueva Colombia come from, the results were:
The 19.6% students interviewed are from Bogota and the others for different parts of the country.
I am a Venezuelan girl who grew up in the coastal lands and has learned from each place and from each one, the climate there, is totally different from the one I am living in the city. It is cold and I have suffered a very drastic change, which many people have not been able to adapt. I have often felt the rejection of people because I come from another country, they don’t like how I express myself and who I am.
To sum up, it is important to be proud about the place where you come from, we all have something to learn and something to teach to other people. The languages are also important in a world that advances every day to new technologies and new forms of government, Colombia is full of culture, with good people.
We have to feel proud of where we come from without caring about anything.
