OL's

Now that we've went through the defensive side of the ball in the SEC its time to focus on the offense for a bit. The first and best place to start is in the trenches with the big uglies that go up against some of the best defenses in the nation week in and out. In the SEC the talent of the men in the trenches is the difference between a shot at the national championship and an outlier bowl game.

Let's look at the vets that are returning for 2014.

5. Corey Robinson, OT, South Carolina(SR)

4. AJ Cann, OG, South Carolina(SR)

3. Reese Dismukes, C, Auburn(SR)

2. Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss(SO)

1. Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Texas A&M(SR)

It's no coincidence that the first two on this list are from South Carolina. The Old Ball Coach has been quietly assembling a deep roster at South Carolina over the last couple of years and now is at the point where there are players waiting in the wings to take over once others step aside. Of the two Robinson is a behemoth of a human being standing at 6 ft 8" and weighing in at 341 pounds. The Gamecocks are going to need that size as Robinson will be guarding the blindside for Thompson come fall. Cann on the other hand has started a total of 38 games over the last three years and one should be able to correlate the three seasons of winning records with his starts. With Cann on the line the Gamecocks have posted three straight seasons with 11 wins and they look to continue in 2014 with one of the most underrated group of offensive linemen in the country.

Dismukes was a huge part of the success for Auburn's running game in 2013 anchoring the

offensive line. Some think he will be a front runner for the Remington Award in 2014 and looks to continue his success under Coach Malzahn.

Tunsil is a flat out beast! As a freshman he racked up All-American and All-SEC honors. His sheer size isn't as intimidating as is the fact that he extremely athletic in his 6 ft 5 inch, 315 pound body. If he keeps up his success under Freeze he'll be a first round lock for sure.

Ogbuehi decided to forego his chances in the NFL Draft this year to return for his senior year at Texas A&M. Without a doubt he is considered to be one of the top linemen in the league and he'll prove it as he takes over the left tackle position left vacant by Jake Matthews. He'll have my pre-season All-American vote going into 2014 and I look for him to be a solid first round pick come 2015.
