First TUI cruiser delivered
from STX’s Turku shipyard
The first cruise ship ordered from Turku shipyard by TUI Cruises GmbH has been completed.
The ship was delivered to TUI on 22 May 2014.
Negotiations for the ownership of STX Finland’s Turku shipyard are currently ongoing. It is
possible – although not yet certain – that the state of Finland and the German shipyard Meyer
Werft may become co-owners.
