Five Warm & Fuzzy Fan Experiences We Should Fight Like Hell To Produce, Promote And Protect

Welcome to the Fan Experience Fight. Yep, this is the daily struggle we SEAT community folk go through to pull fans away from the comforts of their living rooms, large-screen TVs and food that doesn’t suck like most stadium fare.

Okay, sports folk, let the Fan Experience Fight begin.

In the orange corner, we’ve got: Old School Fan.

This fan feels neglected by Hometown Team. He shows up to the stadium late. The beer’s piss-poor. The seats are small and creaky like their aging forward. Old School Fan’s bored by the team’s content on social channels as well.

In the blue corner, we’ve got: 2017 Fan

2017 Fan’s constantly surprised by her team. She’s allowed it to lovingly capture a crap-ton of data on her. They’ve personalised her experience to such a level that she feels warm and fuzzy at regular intervals.

Let’s list and learn a few lessons from a few of the hundreds of examples of warm and fuzzy (W&F) moments we cover at Fan Experience Fight (FEF).

Note: At the live event, we also go to great lengths to cover some of the worst ideas ever executed by teams. It’s much easier (and more fun) to learn from others mistakes, right?

Now, to a few of the W&Fs our contestants could champion at the next FEF.
