Connecting with the Community

Phoenix Rising FC has also spent the last couple of months building and establishing successful partnerships within the community. As a result, they have a strong mix of brands and corporations that will help establish the team’s commitment to the community, elevate the Phoenix Rising brand and offer loyalty to the fans. Stadium and team sponsors include Mayo Clinic, the number one hospital in Arizona, Coca Cola, Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill, Pruitt’s Fine Furniture and the United States Army.

Mayo Clinic, a non-profit medical practice and medical research group with a large Arizona campus, is the official medical provider for Phoenix Rising. As the medical sponsor they will provide medical services to all the players and staff and emergency services to patrons at all home games. Additionally, they will sponsor the Youth Walkout to begin each home game, are sponsoring three local youth soccer clinics at the stadium and will provide educational services to parents and kids on health related topics

Coca Cola is the official soft drink sponsor at the new stadium. Coca Cola soft drinks, water and sports drinks will be exclusively served throughout the stadium.

Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill, a local Phoenix favorite, is the official pub partner of Phoenix Rising FC. They will host viewing parties for away games, team events, pre and post game activities. Additionally, they are the team sponsor of “March-to-the-Match,” a popular soccer tradition, where fans will march from the Thirsty Lion Tempe location to the stadium for each home game.

Pruitt’s Fine Furniture is Arizona’s oldest and largest, locally-owned furniture store. They are providing the “Best Seats in the House” at the new stadium. At each home match, two extremely lucky fans will be randomly selected and upgraded from their existing seats to two, luxury, leather, reclining chairs positioned near midfield on the pitch. At the end of the match, the chairs will be delivered to the winning fans’ home, so they will also enjoy the “Best Seats in the House” while they watch live TV broadcasts of Phoenix Rising FC away games in the comfort of their own home.

The United States Army has also come on board as an official team sponsor. They will set up a Strength and Action station in the Fan Zone where members of the U.S. Army will interact and conduct fun activities with fans.

A Full Roster

Head Coach and President of Soccer Operations, Frank Yallop, is confident he has built a winning team. “With eight strong players returning and the addition of Mexican National Team legend and Chivas’ all-time leading scorer, Omar Bravo, former Leicester, Watford and San Jose Earthquake defender Jordan Stewart and English National team, Chelsea and Manchester City superstar, Shaun Wright-Phillips, the team has both depth and versatility,” says Yallop. “We’ve built a team with a perfect balance of young and experienced players from all over the world. These guys have good core values and a lot of heart.”
