When was your first SEAT Event?

Miami 2014. I walked in the hotel as the Pussy Cat Dolls were performing by the pool. I could tell this would be a bit different.

What inspires you?

My Children

Any advice for your previous boss?

People don't leave businesses, they leave bosses.

What is the one element you would like to see changed in the sports industry?

Chasing short-term cash at the expense of long-term reputation.

How would you convince someone to do something they didn’t want to do?

Emotion > Logic

What do you want to do with your time when you have the opportunity to retire or stop working?

I don't want to ever stop working. I intend to go back to writing as I get older. Writing is a muscle that you need to exercise. Whether anyone reads my stuff is a different matter.

What are you known for?

Hopefully creativity, energy, organisation and vision. But probably grey hair. It used to be described as "salt and pepper". But the pepper ran out.

Where did you go to College?

Newcastle, Leicester, Brighton

What is your biggest professional accomplishment?

My part on Arsenal's digital/social media success. I was in charge of all content (digital, social, TV, print) throughout the real explosion of content on all platforms

Last book you read?

On Writing by Stephen King

First job out of college?

Journalist
