When was your first SEAT Event?

SEAT 2015 in San Francisco. I'll never forget playing softball in the Giants stadium - that was amazing. Plus, the collegiality of the other SEAT attendees hooked me on the conference.

If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?

Chipotle. I never ever get tired of rice and beans.

Brand most admired... And why?

Apple - I admire how they have changed entire industries and I also admire their profit margins

Do you have a signifiant other? Do you have children? Would you mind sharing a bit of information about your family with us?

I have a wife, Carolina, and we've been married for 16 years. I have two children - Gabriela (11) and Wilson (8). My wife is Brazilian and she spends summers with the kids in Brazil, so our kids are natively bi-lingual and are growing up with one foot in each country. I've been to Brazil at least once every year since 1999 and have spent more than a year of my life there.

What I like that would surprise those who know me:

I love rugby - most people don't know that. I played in college and I can still sit down and watch just about any rugby game - doesn't matter who the teams are - and just sit and watch and be fascinated. It's a great sport - the most fun game I've ever played, and the most pleasing to watch.

What career advice do you have for people wanting to work in the sports industry?

Start young and be willing to start at the bottom and work your way up; don't be afraid to tell people about your ambitions.

Favorite quote or words you live by...

If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

- Mario Andretti

How would you describe SEAT?

SEAT is a great way to network with industry colleagues facing the same challenges and solving the same problems as I am, and to have fun doing it!

Favorite quote or words you live by...

My favorite city in the world is San Diego. Every time I get off the plane in San Diego my stress level goes down to zero. I just love the climate, the atmosphere, the views. I feel very much at peace there.
