When was your first SEAT Event?

SEAT Kansas City 2013

How would you describe SEAT? "Participating in SEAT has given me great opportunities to meet and learn from other professionals in our industry, to visit a wide range of venues, and to have fun."

What are you known for? Any particular characteristic, trait, personality?

At work, I am a stickler for doing things properly. If you do something right the first time, you save yourself the effort of having to revisit it later. Out of work, I am known for throwing a good party (my 40th birthday was disco and drinks for 140 close friends in London's tallest building - the Shard)

Do you prefer the mountains or the beach and why?

The mountains of Scotland, as viewed from the window of the Highland Sleeper train early on a sunny summer morning. So beautiful.

What was the last gift you gave someone?

I bought my mum, husband, brother and some friends tickets to see the live production of Dreamgirls in London's West End. Experiences make much better presents than stuff. Most people have more than enough stuff in their lives.

If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?

A traditional British Sunday roast beef lunch in a country pub with all the trimmings and a pint or two of real ale.

What was your first thought when you woke up this morning?

Why did I stay out drinking on the Isle of Wight last night, when I knew I had to get up a 0445 to catch the ferry to the mainland so that I could catch a flight from Heathrow to Los Angeles...

What is your biggest professional accomplishment?

Being promoted to head up IT for AEG's European businesses

What was your first job you ever had?

As a teenager, I worked in a lampshade factory in West London during my school holidays.

What inspires you?

Travelling the world, meeting people and learning about their different cultures, experiences and histories.
