Corey Carlson and Severin Behnen lead the Blue Canvas
Orchestra in an evening of songs from the quintessential
pop rock group of the 60s - The Beatles. No funny hairdos or
outfits, just musical virtuosity by members of Big Top’s house
band, complete with string section, as they interpret their
favorite Beatles songs. Sing along with your favorites such as
“Yesterday,” “Let It Be,” “I Am the Walrus” and “The Long and
Winding Road.”

Andrew Bird has been called a musical innovator who
winds together his trademark violin technique with
xylophone, vocals and sophisticated electronic looping. Add
in his uncanny ability to whistle anything, and he becomes a
riveting one-man orchestra. He was initially known through
his work with the band Squirrel Nut Zippers before forming
Bowl of Fire, and is now best known as a solo musician. He
wrote “The Whistling Caruso” for The Muppets and performed
the whistling heard in both the film and the soundtrack. Bird
composed the score for the FX original series Baskets. Singer, songwriter and keyboardist Bruce Hornsby draws
from classical, jazz, bluegrass, folk, Motown, gospel, rock, blues,
and jam band traditions. His recordings have been recognized
with multiple awards including the 1987 Grammy Award
for Best New Artist with Bruce Hornsby and the Range, the
1990 Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album, and the 1994
Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance.
Hornsby has also achieved recognition for his solo work,
his touring band Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers, his
bluegrass project with Ricky Skaggs and his appearances as
a session and guest musician. He also collaborated with The
Grateful Dead and was an unofficial member of the band from
September 1990 to March 1992, playing over 100 shows.
