Science Of The M eal Food is fun to mak e, and it's fun to ea t. Is it fun to ...study? At our Field Study Crew 4371 learned that there is a lot of science that goes into the everyday foods. During an unexpe cted “eat in site” night, the Crew seized the opportuni ty to experiment with th e meal. We explored questions such as how baking ingredients work, how and why certain ingred ients work together, and microbiology. Renowned Chef George Kouloheras lead the crew with a special activity designed to explore the science and art of cooking. Crewmembers split into teams and everyone got into the mix of making the meal.
