Advanced Placement Environmental Science
Course Description:
With a scientific systematic examination of the interrelationships of the
natural world, the student will be able to identify and analyze
environmental problems, both natural and human-made, to evaluate the
relative risks associated with these problems, and to examine alternative
solutions for resolving and/or preventing them.
Pre-requisites: One unit of Biology and one unit of Chemistry, both with
a recommended grade of 90 or higher in both classes; or Honors Biology
and Honors Chemistry with Teacher Recommendation.
