Exercise Physiology
Course Description:
This course provides an overview of the human body’s responses to
physical exercise. Students are introduced to the metabolic,
cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neuromuscular adaptations to acute and
chronic exercise. The course offers identification of physiological
mechanisms underlying physical activity, improvement, and
maintenance of health and fitness. Additional Information Students in
this course will earn two credits: one in science and one in Health/PE.
