Program Background
The new stage 6 science syllabuses are being
implemented in schools in 2018. In preparation of this,
a number of network meetings will be held in 2017 to
build professional learning groups to:
• Discuss the depth studies and how they can be
programmed into class time.
• Develop resources for conducting depth studies
• Collaborate with other teachers in order to share
ideas about possible depth study options.
Come along to a two hour twilight session and learn
more about depth studies.
Work with other professionals in the industry to discuss
the purpose and intent of the depth studies and plan
how you will incorporate them into your own classes.
You will be able to share your ideas, ask questions, and
discuss and develop innovating and fantastic ways to
encourage student deeper learning.
New dates are being added!
