ARTICLES REPORTS STANSW ‘Meet the Markers’ 2018 Report By Deborah de Ridder openly to enable a smooth transition between the existing HSC and the new HSC courses and assessment. Despite the last of the current style of HSC examination being held in 2018, a large number of teachers still registered for “Meet the Markers” this year. Meet the Markers was held on Saturday 26th May. This event has had a long history of supporting teachers of stage 6 Science, in particular those teachers who are unable to engage directly with HSC marking. This year this event was also held at Macquarie University. Meet the Markers will continue to be a premier STANSW event in 2019, as a large number of teachers agree that it is an important way of finding out about HSC marking, as well as the new HSC courses. A wide range of presenters in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Senior Science and Earth and Environmental Science from each of the marking teams reflected the commitment tha
