Frack?

Hydraulic Fracturing is a method of extracting natural gas from a fossil fuel called shale rock, which is deep underground. The process uses water, sand, and chemicals that are currently unknown. Hydraulic fracturing gives us a bountiful amount of natural gas, which we use in everyday life; however, the method has arisen several key questions about safety and water security. Fracking could be a viable part of our energy security, but only if it is proven to be safe. One big question that needs to be answered, is if fracking does pose a threat to our ground water reserves.
