By Raphael Rosen Contributor If you’re an artist interested in bridging science and art, one clue that you may have the right stuff is if one of your creations is titled “Windmill-Powered Disco Dollhouse.” Or “Electrolysis Detonator.” Or “Ferrofluid Magnetoscope.” Luckily for Michael Flynn, an artist-tinkerer based in Ann Arbor, MI, those are all titles of thingamabobs that he’s built, and slowly but surely they are making their way into the world outside his studio. 28 SciArt in America October 2014
