If you’re an artist interested in bridging science and art, one clue that you
may have the right stuff is if one of your creations is titled “Windmill-Powered Disco Dollhouse.” Or “Electrolysis Detonator.” Or “Ferrofluid Magnetoscope.” Luckily for Michael Flynn, an artist-tinkerer based in Ann Arbor,
MI, those are all titles of thingamabobs that he’s built, and slowly but surely
they are making their way into the world outside his studio.
