dried, I begin painting on it. Unfortunately, it’s kind of a ‘one-time’ use, but for the most part, I let my models keep the pieces. It’s like ‘payment’ as I don’t really have a huge budget to ‘properly’ pay for their time (although many insist they’ll do it for free for the experience). It works out though, as when I work on models who are close(r) friends of mine, we’ll often go out for drinks afterwards, to unwind after a long day. But they’ll generally keep the art on, use it as an icebreaker; they get to talk to new people and make new friends, and people see the work firsthand who typically wouldn’t have been exposed to it. A few models have float-mounted the peeled-off art between two sheets of glass (which actually looks quite nice in the end) but the vast majority just throw it out afterwards (shh).
