Announcing the new
Hello everyone!
It is with pleasure that I announce the opening of SciArt Center, a new
organization and space for scientists and artists to meet, collaborate, and
experiment. In partnership with CENTRAL BOOKING, we are located in
the Lower East Side.
As the Editor-in-Chief of SciArt in America, it has long been a goal of mine
to create a physical space to foster and celebrate the work we publish on our
blog and in our magazine. With my co-founders Yasmin Tayag and Ashley P.
Taylor, our Managing Editor, that goal is finally being realized.
In short, SciArt Center is a place where scientists and artists can come
to work across disciplines, where members can showcase their work, where
science-art themed events will be held, and will be where the magazine calls
home.
Opening June 20th with a celebratory art show and party, we are almost
ready to announce our membership drive, so stay tuned for details by liking
the Center’s Facebook page and subscribing to the Center’s mailing list.
