STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The School of Design at Stevenson University engages and empowers
students in a process of discovery, cultivating a creative community
of inquisitive and collaborative leaders who contribute meaningfully
to our complex world. We embrace people of all backgrounds and
promote an open and inclusive environment where diverse perspec-
tives and approaches are valued. Through challenging academic
and experiential learning opportunities, students apply the theories,
tools, concepts and practices of communication, design, and the arts
in order to anticipate and respond to the needs of dynamic societies.
