Students in this major complete internships in Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia; and New York City. Whether working for Fox 45 News, The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, or The Smithsonian, students learn about the importance of art/design in professional fields. Each internship includes a minimum of 120 hours at the employer’s site. HIGHLIGHTS OF CURRICULUM The program is rigorous, rich, and engaging. Students begin working toward an art-related career from the outset by taking art courses and using the computer during the first year.
