A day in the life of a Greek
child
Children in Greece wake up between 7:00 (seven
o’clock), and 7:30 (half past seven). At 8:15
(quarter past eight) they go to school, from
Monday to Friday. There they learn new things and
play with their friends. At 1:15 p.m. (half past one)
they finish school. Nearly all the children in
Greece have afternoon classes which they pay for.
After that, they go back home and at night, at
about 9:30 (half past nine p.m.), they go to bed.
