but follow our tips and you will be safe online

1. Never tell anyone your address or where you go
to school
2. Think carefully before you post a photograph or
a video – once you post it other people can see
and download it
3. Never give out your passwords
4. Never talk to strangers or accept their friend
requests
5. Never meet up with someone you’ve met
online. If someone suggests this tell an adult
6. Use websites you trust
7. Remember not everyone online is who they say
they are
8. Respect other people’s views
9. Don’t send anything rude or nasty
10. If you feel uncomfortable or weird about
something you see, or something someone says
to you online then close down the website and
